Used Photocopiers Explained

It's a fact that many companies upgrade perfectly good copiers because either the lease has expired or the company needs have changed! For example they may need a bigger faster machine or be taking on a colour copy and print facility. In the current cost conscious times of recession they may be downgrading or a machine may have been repossessed by a leasing company.

We can assure you that although a lease may have expired say it's at the end of 3 or 5 years the machine doesn’t "give up and die" on the last day of its lease, in the majority of cases they offer many more years of reliable service.

Our lease on a refurbished copier will be for a maximum 3 years, that’s a 3 year extension of life.

We take upgraded machines and put them through an inspection process we:

  • reject machines with excessive copy volumes
  • reject machines which have had a poor service record
  • reject models that we consider offer poor reliability

Those selected for refurbishment are then put through an extensive workshop rebuild. This is not a cheap process and is reflected in our pricing, the equipment you receive will perform as near to the same as a new machine as possible. Many companies say that they refurbish or remanufacture photocopiers but do little more than clean them, leaving them to deal with future problems as they arise on your premises, we are not interested in competing with those suppliers.

Our intention where possible is to remanufacture end of lease photocopiers to the highest practical standard, this can be near showroom condition which in turn offers clients a great cost-effective reliable alternative to new equipment.
