Environmentally Friendly Copiers

We are in an ideal position to extend the life of office equipment which in effect can reduce the end users carbon footprint, after all if you were to select a new machine imagine the carbon produced through manufacture and shipping, refurbished equipment makes perfect sense.

Obviously there are financial and environmental benefits of acquiring office equipment that looks good and performs as efficiently as a new photocopier or printer - and carries exactly the same guarantees of copy quality and reliability as when it was new.
The entire process is of an extremely high standard, each remanufactured photocopier undergoes rigorous testing before being returned to service.
After:
- rejecting machines with excessive copy volumes
- rejecting machines which have had a poor service record. Note rejected machines may be used as donors for parts such as circuit boards and panels, that’s “Green” thinking.
We are left with equipment deemed suitable for refurbishment we then:
- Remove covering panels & strip equipment down for maximum access
- Replace badly worn item such as feed tyres , transfer units, webs and belts
- Check and replace all high mortality parts where appropriate
- Examine and where necessary replace imaging units / photoconductor drums
- Check circuit boards, reassemble and fully test the equipment through a quality control process
A professional refurbishment can be very expensive therefore the biggest benefits to clients are on larger faster machines, perhaps with colour facilities where maximum savings are achieved. That being said smaller machines with accessories such as document feeders can offer great value for money.
